Just released Coto Pincheira's new CD entitled "The Sonido Moderno Project", is now available at CD Baby - http://.cdbaby.com/cd/cotopincheria

The Latest CD, “The Modern Sound Project” is full of all original compositions featuring the combination of Jazz fusion with Afro-Caribbean rhythms, strong and powerful harmonies, and a 6 piece band.  Featuring some of the wonderful and great Bay Area musicians plus two legends of latin music Alfredo de la Fe on Violin and Orestes Vilato on Timbal, this CD is the result of a work started almost 2 years ago. I'm glad that we've been able to contribute with a little bit of music to the Bay Area, from the Bay Area to the world.

He believes that one should cater to the dancer "El Bailador" and is
presently working on a combination of Timba and Salsa.

"It  is my passion to do this music for you, the feeling is great when you
perform with a bigger size band playing Salsa Mambo in general: that's why
im putting this latin salsa band togethetr to have fun, enjoy , make people
dance, make people play."

Jazz has always been Coto's dream and now more than ever since he has
relocated to the States.
